Mid-Summer Update
GCE Continues To Seek Financing and Considers Branding Opportunities
MOBILE, Ala. — Gulf Coast Entertainment (GCE) continues to work to solidify financing for the nearly 2,700 acre commercial and entertainment venue to be located in Mobile County and shape the project in a way that would deliver the most entertainment options, revenue streams and sustained business for the region. Plans call for a proposed oval speedway, road course, karting track, RV park, lifestyle village, commercial zone and designated open space.
Part of the strategic planning is focused on the need to segment the project into different distinct sections so naming rights and branding opportunities can exist for corporations seeking such options. GCE is hopeful of selling naming rights for each of the distinct sections and to create areas that not only have marketing strength for today’s current economy, but will have the potential to have a place in the marketing landscape for decades. These corporate conversations will begin soon.
As a result of this marketing evolution, GCE plans to announce a new name for the overall project that will provide a national corporate marketing platform, and the various elements will be corporately branded.
As always, GCE will notify members of the media with major announcements and will also continue to keep media, fans and interested parties updated through its website www.alabamammotorsportspark.com. |
