INVESTORS EXPECT 2008 TO BE MONUMENTAL YEAR FOR
ALABAMA MOTORSPORTS PARK

Group Announces Agency of Record and Merchandising and Fulfillment Partnerships

MOBILE, AL – With the New Year brings new excitement for Alabama Motorsports Park, A Dale Earnhardt Jr. Speedway.  Investors are continuing to work with Mobile-based Thompson Engineering and Kansas City-based HOK Sport to secure the necessary permits so ground breaking can begin for the multi-venue facility.

Earlier this month, Lewis Communications was selected as the agency of record for Alabama Motorsports Park. The firm’s primary scope of work will include creative design and media buying for Winners Circle seats, RV Slips and Garage Condominiums.

"We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting, world-class project that will no doubt bring unprecedented growth to our area and set new benchmarks in sports entertainment," says Ellen Wingard, SVP/Managing Director of Lewis Communications, Mobile.

This year will mark the launch of a web store hosted at www.alabamamotorportspark.com that will boast a variety of Alabama Motorsports Park themed merchandise.  Both hard and soft goods with designs unique to the property will be highlighted.  Charlottesville, VA-based Sportstoday has been selected to provide web store and fulfillment services.  Merchandise is expected to be available for sale in late spring.

Staying on Track with Investors and Their Racing Endeavors
Kerry Earnhardt, the eldest of the Earnhardt children, will continue making visits to the Gulf Coast representing Alabama Motorsports Park.  During 2007 he made visits to a Mobile BayBears game, the Bay Minette Air Show, and the “Topping Off Party” for Bass Pro Shops.

Event organizers who have interest in promotional partnerships with Alabama Motorsports Park should contact Tonia Jackson at PSE-3 in Raleigh, NC.

Aside from his responsibilities with the project, Kerry Earnhardt will stay busy with his involvement in DEI as a liaison between the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series programs in addition to assisting with DEI driver development.  He will also work closely with his son, Jeffrey Earnhardt, who will campaign a full season under the DEI banner in the Camping World East Series in 2008.

Kelley Earnhardt Elledge, who has seen JR Motorsports grow to over 100 employees during her seven-year tenure as general manager of the organization, will again be busy with the team.  In addition to the No. 88 Nationwide Series entry, the team will field the No. 5 Chevrolet in partnership with Hendrick Motorsports.  JR Motorsports will also field three entries in the NASCAR WHELEN All-American Series.  Elledge is business manager for brother Dale Earnhardt Jr., on the Board of Directors for the Dale Jr. Foundation, is the Incorporating Director of the Board for BlueHarbour Bank, and is co-owner of the Mooresville, NC, retail store Scrap Shack.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s move to Hendrick Motorsports is official.  He spent the early part of the week testing at Daytona International Speedway in the No. 88.  He will also run selected races for JR Motorsports in the Nationwide Series, including the season-opener at Daytona.

Nashville, TN-native Armando Fitz and wife Mimi will begin their eighth year of team ownership in the Nationwide Series, this season fielding the Fitz Motorsports No. 22, and will again field cars in the Camping World East Series and NASCAR Mexico, and partner with Hyper Sport Racing in the Grand Am Series.

Hyper Sport Racing co-owner Rick Skelton is coming off of a spectatcular second-place finish in the Baja 1000, and his team's second-place finish in the Grand Am Koni Challenge Series' season's driver and team point standings. In addition to focusing on another stellar Koni Challenge Series Season, the team is preparing for select races in the GT Class of the Rolex Series and will field an entry in the 24 Hours of Daytona.

All project updates will be posted to www.alabamamotorsportspark.com throughout the year, including up-to-date site plans and renderings as they become available.  Winners Circle membership applications are available, and weekly updates on the racing teams associated with the project will be listed in the ‘Pit Notes’ section.
